12' x 18' Gallatin Post & Beam Shed
Imagine the possibilities with this true timber framed building. An eastern white pine timber frame with finished planed surface provides the structure, and timbers are joined with authentic, traditional mortise & tenon joinery with hardwood oak pegs. Vertical shiplap pine siding is on the exterior, with architectural shingles on the roof, and an arched king post truss accent on the front with sliding barn door.
Timber Frame Interior
Inside the 12' x 18' Gallatin Post & Beam Shed, find exceptionally crafted authentic timber frame construction with traditional wood joinery. The 9' wall height provides generous space for any purpose you have in mind, and a 4' x 12' loft is built in, with the option to expand. The steep 12-12 roof pitch makes the loft useable and the rest of the shed open with a cathedral ceiling. 4x8 pine rafters form the roof structure, with collar ties and the same precise joinery as our larger post & beam barns.

Why The Barn Yard?
Our timber frame sheds are the real deal: 100% authentic post and beam, from the timber sill all the way up to the roof rafters, with the most intricate and authentic joinery available anywhere. All of our timber frame sheds are designed by our in-house designers using advanced 3D design software. The timbers are cut on CNC timber processors at our shop in Ellington, CT for precision down to the hundredth of an inch. Because of this great precision, our timber frame sheds are easy to raise. All pieces are numbered which allows our crew to raise the frame efficiently.
