Main level with Douglas Fir key beams for 22' clear span post & beam perfection
We were proud to design, engineer, and build this 3-story addition to the CNC barn. It was quite the undertaking, with much consideration focused on matching the existing post and beam barn.
Upstairs on the third floor, check out that timber frame transom dormer with awning windows. Also notice the heavy timber rafters with mortise & tenon collar ties and the maple spline joinery on the top plates. This is the definition of exceptionally built.
On the main level, notice how we clear spanned 22’ with specially designed Douglas Fir key beams. And, like all our post & beam barns, it’s all about the authentic joinery. Plus a beautiful southern yellow pine floor.
Everyone, welcome to exceptionally built post & beam.
